Burnley managed to maintain the lead till the end of the first half. But, the Leicester players came into the second half with all guns blazing. Just 10 minutes later, Jamie Vardy scored the second goal for Leicester. Anthony Knockaert set up the goal by giving Vardy a cross right at the edge of the box and Vardy smashed the ball into the left hand corner of the net.

After the match, Pearson said that it was nice to see the boys performing well under pressure. The team has struggled at times in the current season, but, in this match, the players were up to the task. Leicester City will play its next match against Hull City at the same venue on 23rd of September.
