TRIPPIER ADVISES MUSAH ON ENGLAND FUTURE

 

Atletico Madrid fullback Kieran Trippier has advised youngster YunusMusah on his England future according to the report from Spanish media outlet Football Espana. It was revealed that the two players discussed international football after the Spanish La Liga meeting between Valencia and Atletico Madrid. Three Lions of England right-back Kieran Trippier started for Atletico Madrid, while YunusMusah also started for the hosts Valencia.


Young winger YunusMusah turned 18 on Monday and he’s set to make a decision on his international career with the options of England and the United States of America at his disposal. He played for England for the various youth teams and the player has already been informed that a call-up to the u-21 squad is on the horizon. He featured for the United States of America during the recently concluded international break. He played against Wales and Panama in international friendlies played during the aforementioned international break.YunusMusah is also in contention to represent the United States at the Olympics shifted from this year to next year in Tokyo, Japan.

He has to make a decision on whether to wait for a chance with the Three Lions of England or continue with the United States of America and be part of the new generation of talents such as Chelsea forward Christian Pulisic, Borussia Dortmund star Gio Reyna, Juventus midfielder Weston McKennie and many more. He can still play for England since he’s yet to feature for the United States in a competitive game.
